Provence & the French Riviera

May 11-16, 2026

Welcome to Provence, home of the French Riviera, lavender fields, and the world’s preeminent rosé producers. Here you will be immersed in the culture and history of the region from masterpieces housed in sunlit galleries, to ancient hilltop villages crowned with crumbling stone fortresses, to the lively markets of Aix-en-Provence with artisan cheeses, truffle-laced dishes, and fresh lavender honey. Enjoy private tours of olive groves, family-run wineries, and hidden gardens scented with thyme and jasmine. In this timeless corner of France, let us lift a glass of crisp rosé and savor every detail - the bright, mineral notes, the faint scent of wild strawberries, and the warm laughter of new friends around the table. This is Provence as you’ve never known it before, with discovery and delight in every moment.

Day 1: Marseille

May 11, Monday

Bienvenue à Marseille! Welcome to the French Riviera and France's 'second' city, one of the busiest seaports . A city with it's history dating back to pre-roman times and filled with cultural influences from Provençal to Corsican to North African and Arab.

On your first day in this charming Mediterranean city, we will check into our hotel and then become acquainted with our home for the next week. On an intimate walking tour, you will experience the beauty of the city and learn about its history from the Greek settlers from Phocaea to today. After, we will return back to the hotel for rosé, cocktails, and a special welcome dinner.
